Amsterdam by bike
Biking along the canals is an excellent option for those who prefer to admire the water from a slight distance. The various city districts of Amsterdam all have a different vibe and exploring these areas is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the diversity of Amsterdam. The posh ‘Amsterdam Oud-Zuid’ with its stately mansions and well known Vondelpark is very different from the charming Jordaan where you can wander through the narrow streets and unique hidden courtyards (‘hofjes’ in Dutch). It is also highly recommended to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and follow the track of the Amstel River.
