Press release: Ciel Bleu tops Gault&Millau 2020 Dutch restaurant guide

Amsterdam, December 2019 – At the presentation of the Dutch Gault&Millau 2020 restaurant guide, Ciel Bleu Restaurant – located on the 23rd floor of Hotel Okura Amsterdam – was awarded 19 out of 20 points. This puts the restaurant firmly at the absolute top of the Dutch culinary scene, making this Michelin two-star holder one of the three best restaurants in the Netherlands.

The renowned culinary guide celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. What started as a culinary magazine with recommendations in Paris is now an internationally trusted culinary guide with editions in 18 different countries.

About Ciel Bleu

Ciel Bleu Restaurant, located on the 23rd floor of the Hotel Okura Amsterdam, was awarded its second Michelin star in 2007, under the leadership of chefs team Onno Kokmeijer and Arjan Speelman. The restaurant is affiliated with the Alliance Gastronomique and boasts no less than three SVH Masters: Master Host Pasquinel Kolk, Master Sommelier Noël Vanwittenbergh and Master Chef Onno Kokmeijer. The ‘Chef’s Table’ located next to the kitchen is available for exclusive bookings for up to 10 guests. ‘Starlight’ offers private dining options for groups of 10 to 16 people.
