Nagomi Gym & Wellness newsletter May 2023

Dear Nagomi members,
Below you will find the third newsletter of the year 2023.

MyWellnessApp

A number of you experienced problems with scheduling via the MyWellnessApp – specifically when planning on Monday.

Together with Technogym we identified where this comes from and it is not due to a specific day, as you can plan two training sessions in advance. When you have completed the first planned training, you can schedule another training via the app. This is set by default by Technogym to give every person the opportunity to plan a training.

Team update

Dimitra Papastamou: “My name is Dimitra and I am a new trainer at Nagomi Gym. I have a degree in physiotherapy and I have been working for almost 8 years. I specialise in myosceletal issues. During my work as a physio I realized how interconnected the body and the mind are. This made me turn to yoga and later to pilates and I have been teaching both for the past 6 years. At the moment I am in my first year of my psychology studies focusing on health psychology. In my trainings I do my best to incorporate everything I have learned, focusing on mobility/flexibility as well as strength while taking into consideration each person’s individual needs, strengths and limitations.”

Mandow Nasif: “My name is Mandow Nasif. I am 24 years old from Egypt and I started being a personal trainer when I was 18, now specialising in fat loss and muscle gaining. I will be helping you get in shape by losing fat and gaining muscles. Actively working out since I was 15 years old, fitness has always been a part of my life. This is something that I cannot imagine living without, because it teaches me to be disciplined and follow my goals. I love fitness so much and it’s my passion. I have been in the fitness industry for about 5 years now, and it has taught me many things about myself and others. The most important thing that has come from my time in this industry is that it has taught me how to be patient with people and how to be a good listener. It has taught me how to look at things from other people’s perspective, which makes me a better person overall. I want to help others reach their goals in the gym and in life. I also want to make people feel good about themselves, because everyone deserves to! It doesn’t matter what your goals are or where you are on your fitness journey, I can help guide you along the way!”

David Kovacs: “My name is David, 35 years old from Hungary. I moved to the Netherlands in 2017 and will be joining the Nagomi team the first of May, where I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. Regarding sports, I like to play basketball, to engage in freestyle wrestling and I also enjoy fitness and athletics. I participated in sprinting competitions here in the Netherlands on 60, 100, 150 and 200 metres. I plan to doing so again in the future but for now I am focussing more on gymnastics. Other hobbies of mine are travelling, riding bikes and playing chess!”
