Press release: Hotel Okura Amsterdam again voted the Netherlands’ Leading Business Hotel

Amsterdam, 11 June 2019 – Hotel Okura Amsterdam has been voted the Leading Business Hotel in the Netherlands for 2019 by the World Travel Awards organisation. This accolade means the five-star superior hotel can call itself the best business hotel of the Netherlands for another year, after also receiving the award in 2018.

Michiel Roelfsema, General Manager, is proud of this recognition: “To win the best business hotel award two years in a row confirms our belief that continuous renewal pays off. The digital transformation and other investments we are making in quality improvements are a clear example of how constant renewal keeps us ahead of the game. This is what enables us to respond even more effectively to our guests’ personal wishes and guarantee them top class service.”

Thanks to a choice of several Michelin-awarded restaurants, two bars and 20 meeting rooms in which the hotel’s culinary expertise is reflected, Hotel Okura Amsterdam can provide its business guests with everything they need during their stay. Nagomi Spa & Health is ideal for both exercising and relaxing, while the cooking studio, Executive Lounge and panoramic view of the city complete the experience.

World Travel Awards was founded in 1993 to recognise and reward excellence in every significant segment of the travel, tourism and hotel and restaurant sector and is recognised across the world as a hallmark of excellence. The accolade is awarded through votes from both travellers and sector professionals.
