Hotel Okura Amsterdam appoints new Director of Human Resources

Amsterdam, July 5, 2017 - Eugène Oostenbrink has been appointed as Director of Human Resources for Hotel Okura Amsterdam. In this position, he is responsible for the entire staff policy of the five-star superior hotel and is a member of the management team.

The 42-year-old Oostenbrink has earned his track record at KFC, Equinix and HEMA, where he worked as interim HR Manager for his company HR Kompas for the last 10 years. Eugène started at Hotel Okura Amsterdam in the middle of April and used his first few weeks to set a new course for the staffing policy: "My ambition is to become a employer of choice in our industry. The new idea is to acquire positive and involved leadership, further expanding of employee development opportunities, and to make sure that each employee feels like an ambassador of Hotel Okura Amsterdam. We are going to challenge colleagues to come up with improvement proposals for their own work. A critical look from all our employees is really important."
