F&B Management Administrator

Hotel Okura Amsterdam is looking for a F&B Management Administrator for the F&B office. Our F&B Office consists of one F&B Director, two Assistant F&B Directors, one Restaurant Reservations Supervisor and four F&B Office Coordinators.

In this position you assist the food and beverage director and assistant food & beverage director where possible. You are responsible for the administrative, coordinating and analysing of Food & Beverage. Furthermore providing a supporting role in operation. 

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Control of operational costs in the different departments and analyses of sales of F&B department;
  • Responsible for good communication between all departments and F&B Management;
  • Check and control payroll and outside labour;
  • Report to F&B Director about past week’s communication/operation in the different departments;
  • Preparation work for budget proposal for the different departments, revenue wise and staffing wise;
  • Initiates and works out the special events in de different F&B departments;
  • Control and analyse the operational costs;
  • Work with the different department heads concerned on budget proposal (revenue), staffing and capital expenditure, forecasts;
  • Assists Food & Beverage management to implement new strategies, concepts, standards of operations;
  • Assists to plan, coordinate and check operational challenges;
  • Checks sickness- and recovery reports of F&B employees;
  • To control and initiate activities to standardize and to improve the service level;
  • Maintain close contact with outlets and provide support;
  • Involvement with operation, during flexible work hours.
