Hotel Okura Amsterdam, member of Okura Hotels & Resorts and The Leading Hotels
of the World, is an international five star deluxe hotel, where quality and eye for detail
are of utmost importance. The hotel has 301 luxurious rooms, an Executive Lounge,
four restaurants of which one awarded with one Michelin star and one with two stars,
two bars, banquet capacity up to 1500 guests and an Executive Health Club. Hotel
Okura Amsterdam features the largest and most luxurious suite of the Benelux
countries. The 340 employees make sure that each guest, an average of 1000 per day,
gets the special personal attention what it is all about in the hospitality industry.

Trainee Executive Office
August 2010
The Executive Office consists of our General Manager, the Deputy General Manager and one Executive Secretary.
Main duties:
• Handling all e-mail and regular mail for the General Manager and hotel, makes sure the departments receive information
whenever necessary
• Taking care of all correspondence and responding to guest letters, complaints and complaints handling.
• Welcoming guests and clients in the office.
• Taking minutes during department head meeting
• Arranging business trips
• Making appointments.
• Prepare papers for Supervisory Board and Shareholders meeting
• Assisting General Manager where needed
Requirements:
• -Fluent in Dutch and English, in word and writing is main requirement for this position
• -Representative, well groomed.
• -Being able to work independent
• -Excellent communication skills.
• -Excellent computer skills
• -Being able to handle confidential information (confidentiality agreement)
