Daily from ten in the morning until ten at night, Serre Restaurant is the place to enjoy international dishes from all cultures any time of the day.
Although van der Tang and his team offer cuisine that meets the very highest standards, Serre explicitly does not aspire to any Michelin stars. ‘We received a Bib Gourmand in November, which is Michelin’s award for a perfect price/quality ratio. Our former brasserie, ‘Le Camelia’, had been awarded one, which is why for lunch and dinner we offer a ‘Menu Bibendum’, named after Michelin’s famous icon. This suits the accessible character of our restaurant perfectly.’
The brasserie dishes on Marc’s menu also reflect that accessible character. Take for example his bouillabaisse, which for all its timelessness is served with a very modern touch. Or consider the traditional steak tartare, prepared at your table by hostess Caroline and her team, just like in an old-fashioned Parisian brasserie. ‘It’s quite a memorable experience’, concludes Chef Marc van der Tang. ‘Which we are sure will be true for your visit to Serre no matter what’.
