Onno Kokmeijer launches own caviar

Onno Kokmeijer of the two Michelin starred Ciel Bleu Restaurant presented his own caviar. In cooperation with Persian Caviar, a caviar importer located in Scheveningen, Kokmeijer selected two caviar species that bear his name.

Onno’s recently launched caviar consists of the exclusive Baerii from the Siberian sturgeon. This kind is presented as “Onno’s Taste” and has a characteristically creamy tone. In addition, “Onno’s Favorite” comes from a special Imperial selection, which was exclusively selected by Kokmeijer and has a nutty flavor and spicy fragrance.

 

Do you also have a predilection for caviar and would you like to taste this special delicacy yourself? Both farmed types are available in little tins of 10 or 125 grams. Of course Onno Kokmeijer also uses his own caviar in Ciel Bleu’s kitchen. On the 23rd floor Hotel Okura Amsterdam you can taste the caviar in one of the exclusive dishes.
