
On the third Sunday in October, the annual Amsterdam Marathon takes place. On Sunday October 21st, the 37th edition of the event will be held. In addition to the marathon, there is also a mini marathon, half a marathon and there are two other runs. The Amsterdam Marathon is known as a fast track because it is a very flat track. The route also leads through beautiful and often historic places, so the city of Amsterdam is in the spotlights worldwide. The public has free access to the Olympic Stadion during the Amsterdam Marathon, where entertainment is provided during the whole day. Along the track many Amsterdam citizens encourage the runners. The tracks from the Amsterdam Marathon runs trough the city of Amsterdam and this has some consequences for the reachability of the hotel. On Sunday 21st of October, the hotel can be reached via the ring of the A10. Take exit S112, the Ferdinand Bolstraat can be reached via the Gooiseweg, the Amsteldijk and the Amstelkade.
