Service trainee/Apprentice sazanka restaurant

Our Sazanka Restaurant is looking for an enthusiastic trainee/apprentice to join our team!

The Sazanka Restaurant is a traditional Japanese Teppanyaki Restaurant where the chefs prepare delicious dishes on a hot iron plate at the guest table. The restaurant boasts eleven Teppan grills that each offer room for seven to ten people and are ideal for business and/or festive occasions. The Sazanka Restaurant is opened from 6.30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and can also be booked for lunches for groups from ten or more persons.

As trainee/apprentice you are responsible for offering excellent service in our Sazanka Restaurant. Amongst other tasks, you are responsible for advising guests with regards to menu’s and serving dishes. Tasks and responsibilities

• Operational tasks in the restaurant, such as advising guest with regards to menu’s and serving dishes
•  Maintaining contact with guests in foreign languages
•  Performing Mise and Place activities in the restaurant
•  Following guidelines with regards to safety, Arbo, hygiene and HACCP
•  Working in a multicultural environment

• You are guest oriented
• You have eye for detail
• You are fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written)
• You are flexible with regards to your work schedule
• You live in Amsterdam or surroundings
• You are doing a tourism or hotel related study
